The year opened with an address by Her Grace, Starr, Malkavian Justicar of the Conclave. The speech outlined Her Garce's displaeasure at the current situation with the Anarchs. The murder of Bran by Morpheus was discussed, along with the recent northern uprisings. She offered praise to Prince Varpesh of York for his policy of Anarch extermination across his territories. She also offered praise to Elisabeth Standish, Clan Had of the Toreador for her reinstatement of the ancient order of the Knights of the Rose. The speech closed with the announcement of Hound as the new Justicar for Clan Gangrel.Later, various domains would make addresses. And then Morpheus would make an address that would insult many of the Kindred of Albion, and demand a parley between the Anarchs and the Camarilla.
Trouble flared in the northern domain of Sheffield when Vampire Hunters attacked many of the Kindred there in a number of Dawn Raids. Perhaps taking advantage of the confusion caused by the hunters, Morpheus brough forward his own deadline. He gave the Kindred scarcely less than two weeks to come and meet him.
