h3>March March roared in like a lion with the Kidnapping of Elizabeth Standish from within the Imperial Domain of York. Antonius, it would appear, had disgusied himself as Morpheus and planted many bombs, in the Elysium of Nicholas DeVane at Newcastle. Later, Jacob would stand down as Gangrel Clan Head in favour of Williams, Imperial Prince of Wales. Jacob also declared that the Gangrel Anarchs were now active in the war. The Praxis of Nottingham was seized by Kirk Milton, Progeny of the murdered Alex. Word came from Palestine of a miscreant with oddly shaped teeth. Prince Elaine declared herself and her domain Independent of the Camarilla, yet insisted on a set of rules very akin to the traditions for all in her domain; which she pronounced open to the Anarchs under Jacob. And then everything went ballistic in Stoke. Armandius, Clan Head of the Tremere, ordered a catastrophic attack on the Anarchs there. All were killed, and many feared for the Masquerade. Starr acted quickly, 'punishing' Armandius by giving him Stoke. He was also forced to relinquish his Praxis of Leicester. Starr also hinted at extra private elements to their 'deal'. The attack on Stoke was received badly. News came from Palestine that Edwin Soldevi, the fallen Prince had been captured. Salgan Beaufort seized the Praxis of Plymouth. Jaster seized the Praxis of Oxford and the title of Malkavian Clan Head. A new Anarch appeared on the scene - one Argus, who claimed to have survived the massacre at Stoke and was now after Prince Armandius... Another Kindred to return to the scene was the autark Stone, who openly 'commented' on both sides in the war. Starr called for a meeting of the Council of Clan Heads; Elisabeth Standish was found badly abused in London by Aristine. The Coterie of the Heroes was attacked in Sheffield. An explosion devastated a pub in Newbury, and Janus was believed to have been killed in it. Elizabeth Standish made a speech detailing some of the perils she faced in the hands of Morpheus and Antonius. The Praxis of Poole was taken by the Beauforts. The month ended with widespread devastation on Sheffield as bomb blasts rip through the city, cutting it off from the outside world. The Prime Minister made an announcement, and many Kindred feared the masquerade broken once and for all... |
