Harpy gossip was rife - congratulating Alexander Elwher on his defeat of Williams, an ancient! And also noted the involvement of Elaine of Ely who fought side by side with the Marshal of the South, and Aiden and Gladstone laying aside their differences to fight side by side.

Elaine Cerridws announced that Clan Gangrel has appointed her Clan Head. And awarded Alexander Elwher, henceforth be known as Gangrel War Leader to be considered *Bellicose*. Lord Protector Varpesh also rewarded Alexander granting him Cardiff, the seat of Williams' power and also the domain of Swansea and is no longer considered to be -fallen-. Marshal Ardelia, was appointed Senior of all the Marshals of Albion and tasked with finding a replacement Marshal of the Northern Territories, as Albion will no longer be considered a marshal of the Protectorate. Prince Elaine of Ely and Connor of Clan Gangrel, John Gladstone and Aiden of Clan Brujah, were named Defenders of Albion.

In mid October it would seem that Lady Magenta visited Newcastle and her vast entourage, soon after Aiden of Clan Brujah was declared by Lord Varpesh to be Marshal of the Northern Territories.

Vetriano, Prince of Bath for some 800 years, has handed down his Praxis of the famous city, and after a very brief stop in Edinburgh, appears now to have moved to the bright lights of the city of London. In Manchester Aristine of Clan Brujah declared the formerly sought kindred Jade Anderson of Clan Ventrue, and Jeffrey Eastwood Smith of Clan Tremere to be serving in Manchester as the primogen of their respective clans.

Mid month the mutterings about the Treaty of York began, with the anarchs becoming divided. Morpheus declared that the treaty was an attempt by the Camarilla to divide and segregate the Anarchs and to make Anarchs accept the rights of domain. He stated that he does not accept the treaty, leaving it to the moderates that signed this treaty in my name to continue with their surrender, and asking those of the Anarchs that will stand and fight to come and do so, as Norton did, as Williams did.

On a lighter note the band 'Kindred' started their UK-wide tour in Sheffield. City, shocking the kine with accusations of antics in the USA such as slaughtering goats on stage, tearing the heads off (apparently) live rodents, extolling their (mostly teenage) audience to drink the blood. Witsun StAlbans asked that a meeting of the Princes of Albion should take place and offered London as a venue. In the meanwhile the Anarchs appear to be divided

Treponima announced on the 19th October 2001, the domains of Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury and Gloucester do hereby formerly ALLY themselves under the "Treaty of the Southern Cross." producing a list of statutes which members would swear to, agreed upon by the Princes of the involved domains, Lord Das Mynas, Prince of Glastonbury, Lord Young, Prince of Bath, Lord Lucien, Prince of Gloucester and Lord Pallidum, Prince of Bristol. Alanah felt that she should visit the domains, before ratifying the treaty. And began preparations for the trip to Bristol.

The Prince of Oxford and former Malkavian Clan Head, Jacob terminated Jaster. Morpheus also told the kindred that want peace between our sect and theirs on both sides, I report to you that your leaders have betrayed you; the Anarch moderates for believing peace with the Camarilla was possible, and the Camarilla for the destruction of their own treaty. Jacob declared Norton a Martyr to the Anarch Cause. Stating that with the murder of Norton, the Camerilla of Albion have broken the treaty. In the aftermath many princes closed their domains to all not of the Camerilla. Clarification on the disposal of the redlisted Norton was given by Rosamonde Harpy of the Court of Italy; Herald of the Camarilla "Norton, of Clan Gangrel, Red Listed, has been destroyed by Marshal D'Val of Albion. This action, as directed by His Grace, Justicar Mocsica, Lord Protector Varpesh of Albion, and the Clan Head of the Toreador of Albion, Lady Elisabeth Standish, ends the life of one that would murder a Justicar of the Camarilla.... Let the enemies of the Camarilla know that no treaty, no agreement, no actions that they can take will allow them to achieve victory over us....And Albion, fallen of realms, let this example show hope to you." Lord Varpesh re-iterated this "The Red Listed Cannot be suffered to live. No Treaty, save one constructed by the Inner Circle itself, will take precedence over the Red List." and that the Treaty was signed before Norton murdered Starr. Princes and anarchs both began to declare the treaty null and void, and the anarchs appeared to split between the hard-liners and the moderates. Following the dissolution of the Treaty of York, the Office of the Lord Protector claimed the domains of Coventry, Warwick and Durham.

Ely was ceded from the Imperial Alliance of London, and the Coterie for Albions status went into their meeting. Soon after Elizabeth Standish announced that she would be creating a Deputy Clan Head, Vetriano, Knight of the Rose. Sir Henry Pelham was selected to be new Head of Clan Tremere, with Prince Armandius of Leicester will be taking up a new role as an advisor to the Clan Head.

It would appear that something strange has happened to Edwin Soldevi - or perhaps his message was just garbled. An Earthquake rocked Leicester presumably when this was decided, the epicentre in Leicestershire but it was reportedly felt in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.

Fires were reported in the region of the University of the Historical Town of Durham, which ravaged a large part of the university library before claiming the neighbouring history department. And several Harpy Gossips concentrated on the violence in the Anarch domain of Durham and the neighbouring Camarilla domain of Newcastle, tensions are high. Praxis Seizures

Alexander became Imperial Prince of Cardiff and Imperator of the domain of Swansea Prince Das Mynus of Clan Tremere became Prince of Glastonbury

Aristine of Clan Brujah became Prince of Manchester. Met with suspicion from Lucien, scion of Toreador, who wished to know if the former prince was 'persuaded' a suggestion which was greeted by Joshua Malkavian Clan Head as "assuredly a highly entertaining prank and indeed it had me rolling on the floor in stitches, I don't think I have laughed so much in centuries."

Following the departure of Alexander Elwehr from Leeds, Carmel of Clan Ventrue claimed the praxis of Leeds and reconfirms it's loyalties to Imperial Prince Magenta, and the Empire of York.

Angus Young claimed praxis of the domain of Bath.

Patrick of Clan Brujah is now recognised as Prince of Northumberland.

Manchester was not the only Praxis, which caused scandal

Treponema Pallidum claimed the Praxis of Oxford, in association with the other members of the Treaty of the Southern Cross. Lucien of Gloucester sent the knight of the Rose Benjamin Drake to secure the praxis of Oxford, and hold it in regency as a protectorate of the Treaty of the Southern Cross. Magenta asked how Pallidum could hold the praxis of both Oxford and Bristol, and he withdraw his claim of Praxis, allowing Lucien, the most honourable Prince of Gloucester to secure the praxis. Prince Das Mynus of Glastonbury sent his Childe, Karl Mannesum, to the side of Benjamin Drake to aid in his protection of Oxford. Shortly thereafter, Joshua, Clan Head Malkavian issued an ultimatum, that the intervention of the Knights of the Rose in the Malkavian Domain of Oxford is neither required nor welcome, that the Order of Isaac had been dispatched to restore Discipline and I, Joshua Rosenburgh, claim Praxis of the Domain, giving the Toreador and Tremere representatives twenty four hours to remove themselves and stating that he would treat their continued presence as an Act of War

Lucian stated that his officer would depart upon arrival of Joshuas Order, but stated that he failed to see how this could be an act of war. This was seconded by Prince Das Mynus of Glastonbury who also removed his childe, and asked when the Camarilla declare open war upon other members in such a manner?"

The posturing was noted by Lady Ardelia, Marshal of the South who asked that Clan Malkavian and the 'Alliance of the Southern Cross' send a representative to her in London. The Office of the Lord Protector announced that investigations into Oxford have concluded and Joshua Rosenbergh was now recognised as Prince of the domain of Oxford.
